… I’m going to be a hyacinth!
♥♥♥
Beautiful blue hyacinth in bud just outside my front door. Spring is on its way!
This blog is a journal of my creative journey and isn't confined to any one form of artistic expression. I have a preference for long, slow needlework projects that I intersperse with quicker, often more seasonal projects including digital photography, papercrafts, food, gardening and even the odd musical offering. As my confidence as an artist grows I'm learning to listen to what my art and my choices are saying to me. Sometimes all this moves me to deep thoughts and I write about them too!

Not here, it isn’t! It’s lovely to see such a vivid flash of colour, since I’ve been surrounded by misty grey all day!
hhh . . . spring already?
I never saw them in that colour!!!!!
Gorgeous!!
Mines are white and every day I smell them wonderful fragance.
We have blue, white, pale pink and deep pink Helena. But they are all outside and none of them is yet giving off the beautiful fragrance you have in your home.
great choice of what to be when you grow up! Beauty dressed in green and blue! wow.
Wow. I have never seen a hyacinth with so deep blue color. Its color is near the same than our car is.
Your photos are enjoyable!
Thank you Matti. I have just visited your blog and seen your hyacinth blue car! Yes, it’s as though you bought it to match my hyacinth.
definitely not spring up north….more like an Arctic wasteland!! Jealous of your beautiful bloom…..
No snow here whatsoever. Hope you have warmed up since leaving this comment before the weekend.
Gorgeous photo! And one of my favorite flowers, they have such an amazing scent. I actually have a blue hyacinth growing in my bedroom right now! xo
WOW! So pretty! I have never seen a hyacinth before.
In here, it’s spring already. My plants are in bloom too
This is just a budding hyacinth. If you want to see some in full bloom I did a post here.
Thank you everyone! I see I am not alone in my love of hyacinths.
